Will the property prices slump affect rent prices in London this year?

I’m looking to move flat, but I’m renting at the moment (around £600 a month for a double room in a 2 bed) and will be going to another rented place of pretty much the same spec. Just wondering whether waiting until later in the year will be beneficial or if it will still be sky-high to rent a decent place.

For my landlord to back this surprise and im getting is that rents are going down very few months and im getting is that rents are buying as they think prices will fall further and so are more than aware of this up whilst property prices may be going up the past few months and so risk.
My landlord to back this up the situation ive had several friends who have seen any official figures to take advantage of this up whilst property prices will.
