Why would 2 Chihuahuas bark alarmingly and continuously at someone in the same house ?

Faerifay asked:
in an apartment adjoining the house, sharing the same yard even one year after moving there? Everytime this person comes into the apartment or out in the yard they are on the defence, growling snarling barking, hair up! Yet neighbors or persons making delivery only warrant normal barking that subsides into disinterest. This person has let various things happen to the Chi’s, brings a huge neighbor dog into the yard to “play” with her lab, this dog has attacked the Chi’s and the person laughed, thought it humorous, also has stamped at them, thinking no one has noticed, ******** them with the hose and then acts like they are bad tempered. They are afraid to come out of the doggy dog when the person is there and won’t go into the yard. The person closes the pen around the doggy door so they can’t get out because “the male pees on things” but the person has allowed large malamute males from the neighborhood to roll in dirt and come in the house. And I think they *** too.

It’s obvious this person has been mean to them, and that’s why they’re scared.

Well he must be a terrible person and they are scared of him. Animals are amazing judges of character. They can sense it…and he must have hurt them somehow. I would try to keep them away from him.
