Easy Room Mate

My room mate and I are both 22 and are looking for some kind of town or city some where warm all year round, have an active nightlife, active art and music scene, and is near a beach.

We have talked about places like Hawaii, Florida, Texas and even Peru. But we are both kind of unsure. There needs to be a good minimum wage, good average rent prices, low crime rates, that sort of thing.

Does any one know of a SPECIFIC town or city I can research that fits our requirements?

I’ve got this useless load of a room mate who never buys any food, but always helps himself to mine. I’ve spoken with him time and again about this, but he hasn’t changed. So, last friday, I got him good.

I took an empty pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and placed some of my turds inside. I then added some crushed peanuts, marshmallow cream and chocolate syrup, then mixed it all together. I placed it in the freezer and sure enough, he got into it later, actually eating a spoonful before he realized what it was. Boy was he pissed.

He actually came at me, but I knocked him down. He’s not much of a fighter anyways. Problem is that now this issue is being addressed by the police and the apartment management. Anyone else ever have this sort of problem with a room mate?

Pets are allowed here, and the previous tenants obviously had pets. My room-mate says he likes animals, but he says he doesn’t want to live with one because of their hair. I want to get like a black lab, so yeah it will shed a lot but I am pretty fanatical about cleaning so I think it will be okay. I’m not sure if I should suggest a smaller breed with less hair or if maybe the problem is he actually doesn’t like animals but doesn’t want to seem mean…. What should I do?
