I have never shared a house before but next year when I graduate it’s all I will be able to afford. I was wondering how people manage to have a *** life in this living arangment. I mean if you go out partying is it ok to bring someone home if you feel like it or to have a partner stay over if you have one?

I am moving to Abu dhabi and found a flat with 3 rooms. I will be occupying one room and the other two rooms will be occupied by women. These women are totally unrelated to me.

Is this okay? Will this not violate any law or rule in Abu dhabi? I’ve heard that male should not stay with a female in one flat except only if they are married or are relatives.

Flat share bills dilemma?

3 of us share a flat. We have a cleaner that comes once a week. I forgot to unlock the door for her in the morning so she couldn’t get in. Consequently the flat wasn’t cleaned, but she took her money as normal out of the flat kitty. My flatmate says I should have to pay for all of it because I forgot about the door. There is no extra cost to us, just that the flat didn’t get cleaned. I have made numourous sacrifices for the sake of flatshare cohesion, such as paying two month’s deposit that my flatmate wanted (it’s only one month in the tenancy agreement) and I pay for broadband every month that I’ve never used. And I haven’t complained about one announcing he’s moving his girlfriend in without asking or paying any extra rent. Should they let this go, or should I have to reimburse them this week’s money?

My laptop which is wireless will print in home office when close to router but not when in other rooms around the house. Will an access point extend the range of the printer sharing?

I’m renting a 2 bedroom flat with 3 friends, two of us are sharing one of the room. Council Tax payment has to be divided per room or per person. For example electricity charges are divided per person, in this case between 3 peoplw, but tv licence charges are divided per number of rooms; therefore between 2 rooms.
